Workshop Dates for 2015

Join me in "The Little Acorns" Studio?

Both all day workshops can be adapted for beginners.

21st or 22nd March for a Faux Denim Peony Project. 

This is my June 2014 Cuddly Buddly Design Team project, although it is an exclusive design for CB I have special permission to teach this project.
A mixed media design using Fab Tex Craft Paper, beads and a Jeans button, attached to a 20cm box canvas.




22nd or 23rd March for Whimsical Ostriches.

Delightfully cute Ostriches by Margaritha Pronk, with permission to teach.

December 2014 Cuddly Buddly Design Team Project

My latest design – Let’s Party

 Make colour co-ordinating 3D writers with DecoArt Americana Acrylic Paint and Thickening Medium.

Please watch the video to the end - Outtakes, major whoopsie! Learn from my mistake! 

  For this project I’ve used a jute bottle bag, it works really well on hessian and burlap too, but any crafting material would be OK too.

I use a deerfoot stippler to apply paint for stenciling. 
Either palette mix or squeeze out a puddle from the bottle.

Have some fun with this technique.

Happy Smiling Faces........

Lots of activity in the Little Acorn Studio ...... new students who wanted to try before the New Year.

Some were interested in stroke work and even more stroke work, some will move quickly onto dimensional floating colour and some just for a fun filled Christmas workshop.
