I bought a Traditional Narrow Boat painting book on Amazon before Christmas for the kingly price of 1p + P&P. An absolute bargain - Paint Roses & Castles by Anne Young.
My students have shown an interest in this style of strokework. I've been practicing on card and now I need to hunt through my stash for something more substantial to paint on! Somewhere I'm pretty sure I have some metal buckets .... just a case of finding out which corner of my stash they are lurking under .... if not maybe some plastic plant pots that are cheap to buy in the local supermarket .... mmmmm watch this space. But before then I'll show you my first creation.
